Management Team
Sriketan Mahanti is responsible for the management of activities for product strategy and research. Previous to this role, Mr. Mahanti spent four years at State Street Global Markets where he managed credit markets research. Prior to State Street, Mr. Mahanti was the founder of SKG Inc., a financial analytics company that was acquired by State Street. He has strong skills in quantitative finance, product development and technology. In particular, Mr. Mahanti brings a wealth of expertise in liquidity risk research. He has been invited to speak on the topic of Liquidity Risk in leading practioner conferences globally. His work on liquidity risk has been accepted for publication in one of the most prestigious journals in finance. Mr. Mahanti has both a B.S. and an M.S. from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Bidhan Patnaik is responsible for both company strategy and daily operations for the company. He brings a wealth of experience in startup ventures in the financial services and software development industries. Previously, Bidhan co-founded NirvanaSoft, a financial software consulting company. He managed NirvanaSoft profitably for three years leading to its acquisition by Extraprise Group, a Boston based software consulting firm. Prior to joining OGI Bidhan was a Director of Engineering at OpenPages. At OpenPages, Bidhan led the development of many core components of the OpenPages enterprise class Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) software used by major global financial institutions. In addition, Bidhan built several engineering functional groups. He is a strong organizational team builder and has years of experience in building enterprise class software. He holds a masters degree in Computer Science.
Jonathan Jacobs is responsible for the management of sales and marketing programs. Currently, he is responsible for closing the company's initial sales opportunities and raising first-round financing. Previous to this role, Jon spent two years in Product Management at Houghton Mifflin, Inc. He has strong skills in marketing, sales, product management and project management, acting as a product and project manager for large-scale clients in various industries over the last 20 years. In particular, Jon brings a wealth of experience in delivering technology solutions to the financial services industry. Jon has a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Marti G. Subrahmanyam is the Charles E. Merrill Professor of Finance, Economics and International Business in the Stern School of Business at New York University. Prof. Subrahmanyam has published numerous articles and books in the areas of corporate finance, capital markets and international finance. He has been a visiting professor at leading academic institutions around the world including, most recently, the University of Melbourne in Australia, LUISS in Italy and Singapore Management University in Singapore. Prof. Subrahmanyam currently serves on the editorial boards of many academic journals and is the co-editor of the Review of Derivatives Research. He has won many teaching awards including New York University's Distinguished Teaching Medal. He has served and continues to serve as a consultant to several corporations, industrial groups, and financial institutions around the world. Prof. Subrahmanyam serves as an advisor to international and government organizations, including the Securities and Exchange Board of India. He holds degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology - Madras, the Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Joseph Cherian is currently Practice Professor of Finance and Director of the Center for Asset Management Research & Investments (CAMRI) at NUS Business School. He was formerly an Executive-in-Residence at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, where he serves as a member of the Dean's Advisory Board. Prior to that, Joe was Managing Director, Global Head, and Chief Investment Officer of the Quantitative Strategies Group within Credit Suisse's Alternative Investments division where he had direct responsibility for over US$67 billion in client assets managed to a quantitative discipline that included Structured Equity, Long/short Equity, and Global Macro strategies offered as mutual funds, separate accounts, and hedge funds. While at Credit Suisse, Joe also served on the Global Executive Committee and various senior management, investments, and risk committees of the Asset Management division. Joe joined Credit Suisse in 2004 from Banc of America Capital Management, where he was a Managing Director responsible for asset allocation, quantitative equity research, as well as Senior Portfolio Manager of their asset allocation and quantitative equity funds. Previously, he was an Associate Professor of Finance at Boston University; a Visiting Professor of Finance at Cornell University, the University of Amsterdam, and the Tinbergen Institute; and consulted for several major financial organizations. Joe has also been interviewed or quoted in various public media about investments including the LA Times, Dow Jones, Public Broadcasting Station (PBS), and various Institutional Investor magazines. Joe holds a B.S. (1986) in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and M.S. (1992) and Ph.D. (1993) degrees in Finance from Cornell University. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles for a variety of investment or financial journals, and formerly served as a review board member of the Research Foundation of the CFA Institute (AIMR), and on the Scientific Advisory Boards of netDecide Corp. and SKG Inc.
